Privacy Policy

Zealo operates zealo.homes (the "Service"), an AI-powered real estate portal that connects property buyers with listing agents. This Privacy Policy describes what personal information we collect from agents who list properties and from buyers who browse listings or use our AI chat assistant, how we use it, how we share it, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to this policy.

We collect different information depending on how you use Zealo:

• ›Agents — email address: used to create and authenticate your account via magic-link login.
• ›Agents — listing content: property address, photos, price, bedrooms, bathrooms, and any other details you upload to create a listing. This content is processed by the Anthropic Claude API to generate AI copy and stored in our database.
• ›Agents — payment data: when you subscribe to a paid plan, Lemon Squeezy (our payment processor) collects and processes your billing details. Zealo does not receive or store your full card number.
• ›Buyers — name and chat messages: when you start a conversation with our AI assistant on a listing page, you provide your first name and we collect the messages you send. This information is stored and shared with the listing agent as an inquiry lead.
• ›All users — locale cookie: a single cookie named "locale" stores your language preference for up to one year. It is a functional cookie and is not used for tracking or advertising.
• ›All users — server logs: our hosting provider (Vercel) records standard web request data including IP address, browser type, and pages visited as part of normal server operation.

• ›To operate the Service: processing and publishing listings, powering the AI chat assistant, sending lead inquiry notifications to agents, and managing your account.
• ›To process payments: billing and subscription management for agent plans via Lemon Squeezy.
• ›To send transactional email: magic-link login emails and lead notification emails to agents, delivered via Resend.
• ›To prevent fraud and abuse: detecting unauthorized access, automated scraping, or circumvention of usage limits.
• ›We do not: sell your personal information to any third party, use it for advertising purposes, or use it to train AI models.

We share data only as necessary to deliver the Service. We do not sell personal information.

• ›Listing agents: if you are a buyer who chats with the AI about a property, your name and the content of that conversation are shared with that property's listing agent so they can follow up with you directly.
• ›Anthropic: buyer chat messages and property data are sent to the Anthropic Claude API to generate AI responses. Anthropic processes this data under its own privacy policy.
• ›Supabase: stores account data, listing content, and conversation records on our behalf.
• ›Vercel: hosts the application and processes standard web server request logs.
• ›Resend: processes email addresses and message content to deliver transactional and notification emails.
• ›Lemon Squeezy: processes subscription billing and payment data for agent accounts.

We use one functional cookie ("locale") to store your language preference. We do not use advertising cookies, analytics scripts, third-party trackers, session-recording software, or fingerprinting of any kind. There is nothing to opt out of beyond the locale cookie, which you can clear from your browser at any time.

• ›Agent account data: retained while your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days of your request.
• ›Listing content: retained while the listing is active on the platform. You can delete your listings from the dashboard at any time.
• ›Buyer chat conversations: retained to allow agents to review and respond to inquiries. Contact us if you want your messages removed — we will process the deletion within 30 days.
• ›Server logs: retained according to Vercel's own data retention policies, typically 30 days.

Regardless of where you live, you may contact us to: (a) request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, (b) correct inaccurate data, or (c) request deletion of your data. We will respond within 30 days. California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what categories of personal information we collect, the right to delete personal information, the right to correct inaccurate information, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Zealo does not sell or share personal information with third parties for advertising purposes, so there is nothing to opt out of — but we honor all other CCPA requests submitted to the contact address below.

The Service is intended for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, please contact us immediately and we will delete it promptly.
